Currency

Choose the money used by this pricing profile.

Number format

Controls number and date style, like 1,234.56 vs 1.234,56. Currency stays separate.

New quotations use your active profile. No custom profile is active yet, so quotations use the built-in Standard.

Standard is a protected built-in profile. It's the global canonical template (USD, en-US). You can't overwrite it — change any value and Save as new to create your own editable profile.

Pricing Engine

Decides how every page's price is calculated.

Pricing Mode

Cost-Based mode active. Page price comes from consumable cost-per-page, paper, and overhead, scaled by coverage, then protected by markup and a minimum-margin guard. The per-page rates act as a minimum floor.

Manual Flat Rate mode active. The per-page rates are charged directly. Consumable and overhead inputs are ignored in this mode.

Profile name

Used when you Save changes or Save as new.

Standard's canonical values are USD. When you switch currency, Pricecision converts the editable amounts using the latest available exchange rate; save as new to keep your own profile.

Consumable Cost per Page

Cost of ink/toner for one page at the ISO 5% reference coverage. The engine scales this by each page's measured coverage (capped by the coverage cap).

Waste / safety buffer

Covers real-world waste vs. rated yield (~15% is typical).

Find the yield on the toner box, supplier listing, invoice, or manufacturer page. It usually says something like “2,500 pages at 5% coverage.”
